Students recount:
Monday 8th of May, the whole school went to Bunnings in Shepparton to make something special for our mums for Mother’s Day.
First Paula and Emily met us in the DIY corner; they showed us what we were going to make for our mums. We were making flower boxes. We started making them with Paula, Emily, Mr Shannon and Mr Chants help. When we were done we started painting them in bright colours, we were given a “Mum” template to place on the boxes once they were painted. When we were done, we let them sit to dry. While they were drying, we had a tour of the store. When we had finished looking around the store, we came back to the nursery and were allowed to pick two flowerpots to put in our Mother’s Day boxes. We left Bunnings and had lunch at the “All Abilities Playground” near AquaMoves where Paula and Emily joined us for lunch. Paula donated two soccer balls for all of us to play with. We had a great time making our Mother’s Day present and loved playing on the playground.
